Good Morning Colleagues in Ministry,
This missive serves to inform you that after meeting with the stakeholders for our camp ministry that we will proceed as follows, given the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl.
- We will combine for 2024, Teens Pacesetters (Teens 1) and Discovery Teens (Teens 2) and proceed with ONLY 1 TEENS CAMP from SATURDAY, JULY 27, 2024 to THURSDAY, AUGUST 1, 2024. PLEASE NOTE: We have adjusted the age to facilitate our 13 year olds to be able to attend this TEENS CAMP.
- Youth Camp will continue as planned for SATURDAY, AUGUST 3, 2024 to THURSDAY, AUGUST 8, 2024. Given that we make the minimum number of 50 campers to facilitate the camp.
We are very aware of the many challenges we are all faced with after the passing of Hurricane Beryl. Nonetheless, we are also aware of the importance of our camp ministry and in the midst of the challenges, we are finding an opportunity to engage at least 2 of our camps for this year.
In order to plan effectively and efficiently, we will need your updated camp numbers the latest, MONDAY, JULY 22, 2024 and we ask for your cooperation in this matter.
Let us work together to make our 2 camps a reality and a fulfilling experience for those who will attend.
